We are seeking an experienced Angolan Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join an OSV. The ETO will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical and electronic systems onboard, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with international maritime standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair electrical systems, including generators, switchboards, and distribution panels.
Oversee electronic and automation systems such as engine control, alarms, and monitoring systems.
Ensure proper functioning of communication and navigation equipment (radar, GPS, AIS, etc.).
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical installations.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with international maritime safety standards and company policies.


Qualifications & Requirements

Angolan nationality (mandatory).
Valid STCW certification for Electro Technical Officer.
Minimum 2 years of experience as ETO onboard similar vessels.
Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, automation, and electronics.
Familiarity with safety regulations and ISM Code compliance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
Good communication skills in English.
